Using in Human-centred Design to tackle real world problems.

Developed within Ara Art and Design, D4 operates as a student led creative problem solving studio engaging on local wicked problems spanning the Space industry, through to Mental Wellbeing.

Piloted in 2019, the professional practice programme is design to mimic a real world studio, using the tools and processes of large communications agencies. The format allows multiple students to work together on future state problems and connect with industry at milestones along the creative development journey.

This hands-on programme encourages teamwork and the development of the 21 Century skills industry are now demanding from graduates.
